The Red River Rematch is under way as Texas and Oklahoma battle for the Big 12 title this Saturday, and Sam Ehlinger got the scoring started on the first drive of the game.
The Longhorns quarterback missed a couple of easy touchdowns when he overthrew his receivers — clearly pumped up for this championship game. Then, after converting a couple of clutch third downs and getting Texas into the red zone, Ehlinger finished off the drive with a rushing score.

This was both impressive for Texas and pathetic for Oklahoma. Ehlinger ran through arm tackles and dragged defenders into the end zone, signaling it’s probably going to be a long, long day for the Sooners’ Swiss cheese defense.
