“Monday Night Football” put two of the NFL’s best teams against each other and under the brightest lights, the league’s best defensive player rose to the occasion.
Just as it seemed the Kansas City Chiefs were building momentum late in the second quarter, Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald came in and took it all away with a strip sack. Outside linebacker Samson Ebukam recovered and took it to the house for a go-ahead touchdown.

Kansas City had done a decent job limiting Donald for much of the first half. Ultimately, the All-Pro defensive tackle showed why he won the league’s Defensive Player of the Year award in 2017 and might take it home again this season.
Monday’s action has been full of highlight plays from some of the league’s best players, this just added to what has been a phenomenal night of football.
