The story of Jake Olson is so inspirational. Born with cancer of the retina, he’s done things as a blind man that many fully healthy people could never dream of.
On Tuesday, it was announced that Olson is this year’s recipient of the Walter Camp Football Foundation “Award of Perseverance,” which could not possibly be more fitting.
#USC long snapper Jake Olson is the recipient of the Walter Camp Football Foundation “Award of Perseverance.” He was born w/ cancer of the retina. He lost his left eye when he was 10 months old and he had his right eye removed when he was 12 in 2009.. Jake is awesome.
