The Pittsburgh Steelers entered Sunday’s game as arguably the NFL’s hottest team. Better yet, they were playing the Jacksonville Jaguars, arguably the league’s coldest team. But the Steelers had a first half in Jacksonville that was nothing short of disastrous.
During the first two quarters, quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw two interceptions.
Big Ben looking for AB…
But @jalenramsey has other plans.

While interceptions aren’t uncommon to Big Ben, he usually offsets them with a lot of yards. That was not the case in the first two quarters against the Jaguars.
Big Ben at the half
8/19 passing
53 yds
0 Tds
2 INTs
10.1 rtg1/5 for with 7 yards, both INTs when targeting Antonio Brown

And even those numbers are inflated somewhat by an empty final drive of the half. Before that possession (which yielded no points), Roethlisberger had a 0.0 passer rating.
It was a dismal showing for Roethlisberger and his team, who trailed 9-0 at halftime. Twitter let Pittsburgh have it.
I mean, Bortles cannot do ANYTHING, and Steelers are down 9-0. What a mess

9 turnovers for Big Ben in last 3 games v @Jaguars. 3 completions today. Woof.

Jags are the Steelers kryptonite.
Well, them and the Patriots.

How bad is it for Steelers? Best player on the field is P Jordan Berry.

Things were so bad, in fact, that even the Steelers got in on the trolling.

Yikes. While the Steelers trailed only 9-0 at halftime, it’s hard to imagine a half of football going much worse.
