Ryan Fitzpatrick retook the starting job from Jameis Winston in Week 9. But for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, things look awfully similar.
Early in Sunday’s game against the Carolina Panthers, Winston threw a pass we suppose was in the general vicinity of Mike Evans. But he badly overthrew him. Eric Reid easily intercepted the pass.

Fitzpatrick had no fewer than two receivers open on the play.
O.J. Howard was wide open from the first step he took on his route. Crossed right in front of the face of Fitzpatrick as he was looking at Evans. Evans was open, too. Just bad.

Twitter ripped Fitzpatrick apart for the horribly errant pass.

I guess Fitzpatrick couldn’t see the two wide open players on that last INT #stickcarriers #bucs pic.twitter.com/EPna4iHEND

Really emotional tribute to Jameis by Fitzmagic to end that first drive.

It’s like clockwork. Once you give Ryan Fitzpatrick the starting job he starts throwing picks.

The interception led to a touchdown to put Carolina up 7-0.
