The Seattle Seahawks are used to seeing their quarterback make plays out of nothing. But on Sunday against the Detroit Lions, Matthew Stafford gave the Seahawks a bit of their own medicine.
Facing a third-and-10 from the 39, Stafford seemed trapped. Stafford not only got out of the jam, but escaped to find a wide open Marvin Jones Jr. for a touchdown to put Detroit up 7-0.

The Seattle secondary certainly helped Stafford and Jones in making that play. Still, Detroit’s quarterback gets all the credit in the world for wiggling his way out of that jam to make lemonade out of lemons.
