If the New York Giants’ season wasn’t going bad enough, rookie quarterback Kyle Lauletta made sure to cause more problems for the downtrodden organization.
The rookie fourth-round pick from Richmond was reportedly arrested Tuesday morning on a traffic violation.

According to Matt Lombardo of NJ.com, Lauletta was arrested in New Jersey on his way to the Giants’ practice facility on Tuesday morning.
Two sources in Weehawken said the 23-year-old rookie failed to obey a police officer’s directions and that Lauletta came close to striking the officer with his vehicle,” the report read.
Well, that’s just not good.
A Giants official released a statement indicating that the team is “aware of the situation and are in contact with Kyle.” He said they are also “gathering information.”
It’s obviously too early to tell whether Lauletta will be disciplined by the NFL or the Giants. But these aren’t good optics for a team that’s 1-7 heading into its Week 9 bye.
