WATCH: Orioles player makes a complete fool of himself on the basepaths

Baltimore Orioles’ catcher Caleb Joseph tried to score from first on a double during Wednesday’s game against the New York Yankees. To our amusement, it didn’t go well.

Joseph was out by a mile at the plate. But what has us cracking up is the method in which he chose to try to avoid the tag from Austin Romine.

We’re not exactly sure how to describe that, but it wasn’t pretty. Joseph first tried to slide, then decided to do his best Willie Mays Hayes impersonation, which failed miserably.

It’s safe to say that Joseph will not be putting this play on his career highlight reel.
