The Arizona Cardinals are hopeful quarterback Josh Rosen and wide receiver Christian Kirk are the future of the offense, and they saw a glimpse of it on Friday.
On third down, Rosen stepped up in a critical moment. The rookie quarterback stepped into the pocket and threw a dart to Kirk for his first NFL touchdown.

The throw is made even more impressive given how tiny of a throwing window Rosen had to work with. Yet the 21-year-old quarterback had enough confidence in his arm strength to fire it in.
Of course, it also required an incredible catch by Kirk. Arizona’s second-round pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, the young receiver made an incredible grab with his body extended to snag the football.

While there will be some bumps along the way for both rookies, it is plays like these that show just how promising of a future they could have together in Arizona.
