Adrian Peterson is back, and less than a week after signing with the Washington Redskins he was already starting for his new team Friday night.
On the game’s first offensive play, Jay Gruden got his new running back involved, and Peterson looked like himself on a punishing seven-yard gain.

Not long afterward, he popped another big run, this time for 13 yards.

If Peterson can stay healthy, and if Washington’s offensive line holds up, then perhaps the veteran could give the offense a big-time boost. It’s one the Redskins need right now after losing rookie Derrius Guice for the season.
