After getting hit by a pitch on his right wrist in the first inning, Aaron Judge is heading to New York Presbyterian Hospital to undergo an MRI. Was initially evaluated here at the ballpark, too.

If there’s anything to be upbeat about, it’s that he initially stayed in the game and even took another at-bat. So, this could just be precautionary.
Certainly, the Yankees can ill afford to lose Judge as they try to chase the Boston Red Sox down in the American League East. He’s hitting .285/.398/.548 with 26 home runs on the year.
