The Houston Rockets fell one game short of the 2018 NBA Finals after Chris Paul injured his hamstring. After seeing the team fall short without CP3, Houston wasn’t willing to let him walk away in free agency.
Paul and the Rockets agreed to a four-year, max contract to keep the Paul-James Harden duo together.
Needless to say, everyone around the NBA had plenty to say after the news broke.

Chris Paul staying with Houston for the long haul. Great job by that organization building that team. They'll be contending for a championship once again in 2019
