Late in the third quarter of Sunday night’s Game 2 of the NBA Finals, Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James was clearly fouled on the way to the hoop before he fell to the ground.
Two Warriors players, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson, both contacted James as all three of them ended up on the ground. The refs either weren’t watching this, or they were intimidated by the pro-Warriors crowd at Oracle Arena, because no foul was called.

James was livid, and Cleveland head coach Tyrann Lue was so upset he landed a technical.
LeBron James catches the ball in traffic on a long outlet and after he goes to the floor and loses the ball out of bounds after Steph Curry crashed into him, Ty Lue gets all over the refs and picks up a rare technical.

Not surprisingly, many on social media absolutely ripped the refs for this lack of judgement.
Absolutely scandalous officiating. NBA is a joke. What till legal gambling comes, Silver.

Steph Curry should at least get a pass interference penalty.

That is unconscionable.

This officiating is the reason people are beginning to root against GSW

They call LeBron like Cam Newton. Anything short of a suplex is “play on”

I must confess, the @cavs actually do have an argument today. That was a foul in the open court for @KingJames. It should’ve been called. Ty Lue didn’t deserve a tech. And these refs are missing quite a few calls that should favor them.
