PGA golfer Jon Rahm paid respect to fellow Arizona State athlete Pat Tillman, who passed away serving his country in Afghanistan back in 2004, on Friday. He put on Tillman’s No. 42 jersey on the 16th tee, honoring the fallen hero.

It was a tremendous show of respect to a man we all remember for his courage, conviction and character.
In recent years, Arizona State has honored Tillman in various ways as well. He is beloved and missed by the entire Tempe community, and the state of Arizona as a whole.
