Blake Griffin cannot catch a break sometimes, it seems. On Saturday as the Los Angeles Clippers hosted the Golden State Warriors, Griffin took a vicious, albeit inadvertent elbow to the face in the first quarter as JaVale McGee defended him on his way to the basket.

Griffin only recently returned to action for the Clippers after missing significant time with a knee injury. He’s appeared in four games prior to this one since his return, helping the Clippers win three of those four.
At the time of this injury, Griffin had five points, two rebounds and one assist playing in 10 minutes.
