While much of the trade deadline chatter surrounding Los Angeles Clippers center DeAndre Jordan centers around the Cleveland Cavaliers, he’d reportedly rather be traded to the Houston Rockets.
ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith has the scoop here, per Clevis Murray of NBC Boston.

Houston would be a great spot for Jordan to land. The Rockets have all the offensive firepower they need already but could use some help on the glass and down low defensively. Those are the two things Jordan does best. So far this season, Jordan is averaging 11.8 points, 14.9 rebounds, 1.2 assists and one block per game.
The Rockets are also very much in the thick of things heading down the home stretch, just 4.5 games behind the Golden State Warriors for the top seed in the Western Conference. Adding a big man who can do what Jordan can do would certainly be a boon to Houston. However, one wonders how much the Rockets would have to give up in return to make such a deal come to fruition.
