Just one day after Chris Long chided the NFL about selling underdog t-shirts for profit instead of donating funds to charity like Lane Johnson and he have done, the league is following their lead.
Joe Holden of CBS 3 in Philadelphia was the first to report this, and Long quickly followed up with a tweet promoting the NFL Shop.
BREAKING — @NFL just told me in an email they will now be donating 100% of their #underdog t-shirts to #fundPHLschools @Lanejohnson65 @JOEL9ONE @CBSPhilly

This is just an outstanding continuation of what’s been an exceptionally generous postseason giving spree surrounding NFL players.
We love reporting on stories like this one, and it’s pretty awesome that something that started out as a negative — the Eagles being home underdogs despite being the No. 1 seed — has turned into something so positive.
