On Sunday, the New York Giants attempted a trick play against the Kansas City Chiefs. It went about as well as everything else has gone for New York in 2017.
Shane Vereen took a pitch from Eli Manning and attempted to throw a pass. The good news for Vereen is that Daniel Sorensen caught the ball rather easily right in front of the goal line. The bad news? Vereen and Sorensen are not teammates.
The Giants attempt a little trickery…
But the @chiefs have other plans.

For their sake, we hope that Vereen and New York coach Ben McAdoo lay off of Twitter for a while. Because as would be expected, NFL Twitter was unkind to the disastrous play.
Strong opening drive for Giants ends with a goal-line interception of a Shane Vereen pass. Vereen never saw the safety, but you know… he's not a quarterback.

We can give the Giants credit for this. They always keep us guessing. So, while New York might be bad, we can’t call this team boring.
