Following the injury, Sherman was spotted on the sideline telling teammate Bobby Wagner that he felt it was an Achilles tear.

Sherman has been dealing with an Achilles injury since September.
Sherman has dealt with a number of injuries in his career, but has never missed a game. While Achilles tears have different levels of severity, he’d certainly miss the remainder of the season if his initial diagnosis is confirmed.
