Those who watch Golden State Warriors vs. Washington Wizards game on Friday may notice an oddly dressed Steve Kerr. Just know that the current Golden State coach is honoring a past one, Al Attles.
To honor the Warriors legend on Al Attles Night tomorrow, Steve Kerr will wear an Attles replica sideline leisure suit — a doozy, Kerr says

Kerr is promising big collars, bright colors and bell bottoms. Team found a great Attles retrosuit at a local clothier.

For anyone still having a hard time imagining what this will look like, this is what Attles looked like back in the 1970s.
Seeing Kerr in that apparel will certainly be a sight to behold.
Unfortunately, Attles himself will not be there.
Alas, Attles is currently in the hospital and won't be present for his own "night." Get well soon, Al.

Attles joined the then Philadelphia Warriors in 1960 as has been involved with the franchise ever since. He coached the team to the 1975 championship over the then Washington Bullets. Until 2015 and 2017, that marked the team’s only championship since moving to the West Coast.
