On Sunday, Chicago Bears safety Adrian Amos helped his team win its second game of the season when he hauled in a 90-yard pick-six against Joe Flacco (watch here).
It was the first career interception for the 24-year-old third-year safety, who’s been starting since his rookie campaign.
So, it only took Amos 37 career games to notch his first pick, which isn’t lost on teammate Akiem Hicks. The defensive end has dubbed Amos “spatula hands” because it took the safety forever to get his first interception.
#Bears S Adrian Amos on Akiem Hicks calling him 'spatula hands' because it took him forever to get first INT: "Akiem always got the jokes."

Teammates can always be counted on to keep us down to earth. Amos’ first interception was certainly a doozy, but he earned an awful nickname for his efforts.
That’s just tremendous.
