Aaron Judge doesn’t simply hit home runs. He pounds the baseballs into oblivion. Robert Gsellman and the rest of the New York Mets found that out the hard way on Wednesday.
Judge hit a towering home run off of Gsellman in the third inning, breaking a 1-1 tie between the Mets and his New York Yankees.

We can guess that the people sitting up there weren’t expecting to be fielding a ball tonight.
The most noticeable thing about this home run wasn’t just the length. While 457 feet is a massive home run, he’s hit longer. No, what’s amazing about this one is that Mets left fielder Yoenis Cespedes didn’t even feel the need to move a step. Usually an outfielder will give a courtesy step or two, even on a moon shot. Cespedes felt no need and clearly, he was right.
