Western New York isn’t for everyone. It’s a cold climate — one that can make it difficult to even get around during the winter. The Buffalo Bills themselves aren’t for everyone. Here’s a team that has not earned a trip to the playoffs since the Bill Clinton Administration (1999).
Apparently, former Bills quarterback Cardale Jones is one of those individuals that didn’t take a liking to either the city of Buffalo or the Bills’ organization. Jones was traded to the Los Angeles Chargers on Wednesday after just one season in Western New York.
Upon hearing about the trade, the former Ohio State standout was apparently “crying tears of joy.”
"When the Bills brought Cardale Jones in to tell him he was traded to the Chargers, he began crying. He began crying tears of joy"

To be fair, Jones now heads to the sunny skies of Los Angeles and will be Philip Rivers primary backup this upcoming season. To most humans on the faith of the earth, that’s an upgrade from Buffalo.
Then again, it’s not like Jones himself is a franchise-altering signal caller. The Bills gave him up for a conditional future draft pick. He’s also thrown a grand total of 280 passes since high school. Maybe the feeling was mutual on the Bills’ part.
