A day after he was removed from a game with a knee injury, Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Andrew Toles got some bad news.
As MLB.com’s Ken Gurnick reported, Toles tore his ACL and will have surgery.

The injury almost certainly ends his season. Given Toles’ age (nearly 25), Los Angeles will likely be extra careful in bringing him back.
Toles was having a fairly successful rookie season before the injury. He was slashing at .271/.314/.458 and had five home runs. He had started in 31 of the team’s 33 games.
With Toles out, the normally crowded Dodgers outfield has an opening. Considering that, it’s reasonable to expect that prized rookie Cody Bellinger will stay with the Major League club for the remainder of the season
