MLB spring training through the eyes of the WAGs

Spring training is unique, which is what makes it fun.

The players are much more approachable compared to during the season. And from a family standpoint, it’s also spring training for the spouses, who get to prepare for several months of the baseball lifestyle.

We decided to round up some our favorite spring training tweets around the baseball world from the ladies who know it all too well…the wives and girlfriends.

Meet Maisyn. She’s the beautiful and newest addition to the Singleton family. Astros designated hitter and first baseman Jon Singelton and his lady Linzy are the parents to this cutie, and she’s already sporting her favorite baseball gear.

We’ve all been there. Jessica Soto is the loving girlfriend of Tampa Bay Rays pitcher Jacob Faria. And well, she gets it.

Witnessing relief pitcher Seth Frankoff work this spring training has truly been a treat. He has worked so hard to get where he is, and his wonderful wife Bessie has been supportive of him every step of the way.

It’s not a life a lot of us understand, but after talking to a lot of the ladies, saying goodbye to their other half is a redundant situation. Maria Macias’ boyfriend, pitcher in the Milwaukee Brewers organization Josh Hader, shipped off to spring training recently, and we’ve all been there.

Kaycee Sogard is a delight all by herself, and to say she’s her husband’s biggest fan is an understatement.

Infielder for the Milwaukee Brewers, Eric Sogard, underwent surgery last year. And while Kaycee mentioned she was happy to spend that extra time with her husband, it’s easy to see she’s looking forward to seeing how he does during his spring training invite.

Jake Buchanan is a pitcher in the Cubs organization and his biggest fan is his wife, sorry, Twitter follower, Chelsa.
