Just when the Houston Texans thought they were going to make a game of this, New England Patriots running back Dion Lewis had other ideas.
With New England up 7-3 late in the first quarter, Lewis returned a Texans kickoff 98 yards for a touchdown.

This represents the first postseason kickoff return for a touchdown in Patriots playoff history. It also put the Patriots up 14-3 just after Houston had pulled the game to within four.
For Lewis, it’s been nothing more than a coming out party Saturday night. He scored the game’s first touchdown on a pass from Tom Brady early in the first quarter. This comes mere months after Lewis returned to the field for the first time in over a calendar year after suffering multiple serious injuries.
Lewis had 113 all-purpose yards in the first quarter alone.
