The SEC Championship Game got spicy awfully quick in the first quarter. Following an early Florida touchdown from Austin Appleby to Antonio Callaway and an Alabama field goal, the game kind of got out of hand, actually.
Minkah Fitzpatrick had just intercepted Appleby, taking it all the way for six points (watch here). This score put ‘Bama up by the score of 10-7. Then Florida was forced to punt on its next offensive possession, only to see that punt blocked for a touchdown.

Poised to go up by seven points on the extra point, Nick Saban’s crew wasn’t expecting what happened next. Not. At. All.

This unbelievable exchange ended up netting Florida three points, after it earned two on the blocked extra point return.
So, after all that, Alabama still led by just one touchdown, 16-9.
