Here’s a quiz for everyone. How do the Houston Texans take a lead before the offense ever takes the field? Answer, they’re playing Blake Bortles and the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Bortles threw a lazy out-route pass, which Kareem Jackson read like a book. The Houston DB went untouched to the end zone.

This was just an awful effort from Bortles.
First of all, what kind of a pass was that? Those kind of throws  have to have zip or not be thrown at all.
Second, once the pick is thrown, you have to show a little more effort than that on a tackle. This is a must-win game for Jacksonville. Bortles approached that tackle like a preseason game.
The only good news for Bortles is that it won’t likely get any worse from here.
