You read that title correctly. The Baltimore Ravens have sent linebacker Rolando McClain to the Dallas Cowboys in what has to be considered one of the oddest trades in recent NFL history.
Baltimore traded LB Rolando McClain to the Dallas Cowboys, per source. So McClain's retirement might be over.

McClain, who appears to be officially out of retirment after sitting out the entire 2013 season, will join a Cowboys team in major need of help on the defensive side of the ball. If you remember correctly, the former top pick of the Oakland Raiders signed with the Ravens last offseason but was arrested for disorderly conduct and resisting arrest just 10 days after he signed with Baltimore.
McClain then made the decision to retire from football and focus on his off-field life, including enrolling in classes at the University of Alabama. He had previously worked out with Baltimore earlier this offseason, but reports from that workout suggested he wasn’t in football shape. Pure desperation move from Dallas here.
