Kansas City Chiefs rookie first-round pick Patrick Mahomes has yet to take to an NFL field in a game, but he’s already receiving flack for being less-than-stellar on Madden NFL Mobile.
No, really. This one Twitter troll decided to call the former Texas Tech star out for his performance on the mobile game.

First off, who the heck still plays Madden NFL Mobile? That’s a question we have to ask before delving further into this.
Secondly, Mahomes might have more things to worry about outside of a “fan” spending too many “gold coins” on him in a video game. Though, we’re pretty sure that the rookie quarterback was being sarcastic in this response.
Kansas City yielded its first-round pick (27th) overall and a first-round pick next season to Buffalo in order to select Mahomes No. 10 overall in the 2017 NFL Draft. That’s what we would call giving up real-life gold coins for a player the team hopes eventually replaces Alex Smith under center here soon.
