Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Tom Brady remains in a trolling mood months after leading them to the Super Bowl title.

Former President Donald Trump found that out first-hand when Brady and his Buccaneers teammate met with the current occupant at the White House to celebrate their title.

It now appears that Tom Terrific is out here once again taking shots at the teams who passed on him during free agency last year.

“I think it’d be a no-brainer if you said, ‘Hey, you’ve got a chance to get Wayne Gretzky on your team, or you got a chance to have Michael Jordan on your team.’“

So, Brady is out here comparing himself to six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan and legitimately the greatest NHL player of all-time. That’s been a long time coming given his status as a seven-time Super Bowl champion.

Others have compared Brady to the greatest the professional sports world has offered in the past. It’s high time he takes ownership of that title.

However, Brady’s comment about the unnamed teams that passed on him during 2020 NFL free agency are what stands out here.

Tom Brady still impacted by free agent snubs

“One of the teams, they weren’t interested at the very end,” Brady said back in June. “I was thinking, ‘You’re sticking with that motherf–ker?’”

No holding back here. Tell us how you really feel, dude.

As for the teams that reportedly passed on Tom Brady back in March of 2020, the New Orleans Saints already admitted that they kicked the tires on the future first ballot Hall of Famer. But once it became clear that Drew Brees would return for another season, that idea was thrown out the window. Obviously, Brady isn’t referencing Brees in his comments given the latter’s status as one of the greatest of all-time, too.

It could be that he’s speaking about former teammate Jimmy Garoppolo. A San Francisco 49ers fan growing up and Northern California native, Brady had interest in joining the team last year. Months removed from a Super Bowl appearance with Garoppolo “leading the charge,” San Francisco passed up on that opportunity. Fast forward over a year, and the 49ers are set to replace Jimmy GQ with rookie No. 3 pick Trey Lance at some point soon.

Other teams Brady could be talking about include the Las Vegas Raiders, Tennessee Titans and Chicago Bears. Each one of these three squads were linked to the star quarterback last year. While Ryan Tannehill has proven to be a studly quarterback in Nashville, the jury remains out on Derek Carr in Vegas.

Meanwhile, Mitchell Trubisky was the Bears’ starting quarterback at the time of their perceived interest in Brady. How has that worked out for Chicago? Well, the team is set to rely on Andy Dalton as a starter this season with Trubisky now backing up Josh Allen in Buffalo. Insert facepalm GIF here.

Regardless of who Tom Brady is talking about, GOAT has turned up the volume with his rhetoric and trolling ability since leaving the New England Patriots after 20 years. No one seems to be immune from his takes, and it’s a whole lot of fun to watch from the outside.
