NFL Week 10 opened up with the Indianapolis Colts taking out the Tennessee Titans in a big way. It will close with the Chicago Bears attempting to prove that they are not frauds on “Monday Night Football.” That’s where we start with our game-by game predictions for Week 10 of the NFL schedule.
In between, there’s a huge NFC West matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks. Meanwhile, there’s also multiple games that appear to be headed for blowouts.
It’s in this that we give you our NFL Week 10 schedule with game-by-game predictions.

NFL Week 10 Sunday games
Houston Texans at Cleveland Browns
Time/station: 1:00 PM EST, CBS
Texans-Browns Week 10 point spread: Browns -4.0 (over/under 46.0)
NFL injury update: Nick Chubb will return in Week 10
Even without Odell Beckham Jr. for the remainder of the season, it’s hard to imagine the Browns having much of an issue moving the ball against Houston’s defense. The Texans were giving up an average of 31 points per game prior to last week’s win over the hapless Jaguars. Houston is now 2-6 on the year with both wins coming against Jacksonville.

And while the Browns’ defense (29.6 points per game) should allow Deshaun Watson to keep this close, there’s a reason why the Texans are 2-6. They don’t have much of a chance in this one. Working even more in Cleveland’s favor, gusty winds will make passing difficult. Given the Browns’ greatest strength is running the football, this should easily be a win.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Browns 31, Texans 23
Washington Football Team at Detroit Lions
Time/station: 1:00 PM EST, Fox
Washington-Lions Week 10 point spread: Lions -3.0 (over/under 46.0)
Two below-average teams who are shockingly still in the playoff conversation heading into Week 10. By virtue of their 25-3 win over the hapless Dallas Cowboys, Washington finds itself at 2-6 and still in the race in the NFC East. At the very least, Ron Rivera’s squad is playing more competitive football. Unfortunately, the serious ankle injury Kyle Allen suffered in last week’s loss to the Giants led to Alex Smith throwing three interceptions. In reality, that was a bad loss for Washington.
As for the Lions, they have won two of their past four. However, that’s a bit misleading in that those two wins came against teams with a combined 3-12 record. Adding more to the issues is Detroit is the concussion Matthew Stafford suffered in last week’s loss to the Vikings. It’s also a game that saw Detroit give up 252 total yards to Dalvin Cook. Look for Washington to take advantage of this in Week 10.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Washington 24, Lions 21
Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Carolina Panthers
Time/station: 1:00 PM EST, Fox
Buccaneers-Panthers Week 10 point spread: Buccaneers -5.5 (over/under 50.0)
What a difference a few weeks makes around the NFL. It was back in Week 1 that some people were hitting the panic button after Tom Brady threw a pick-six in his Buccaneers debut in a loss to the New Orleans Saints. Fast forward less than two months, and the Buccaneers are right back in that situation following Brady’s horrific three-interception performance in a blowout loss to those same Saints in Week 9.

Despite this, I don’t envision Tampa Bay having much of an issue against a Carolina team that has now lost four of five. The Panthers rank in the bottom eight in points scored and are once again without Christian McCaffrey. Meanwhile, Teddy Bridgewater has struggled after some initial success in his debut season with the team. There’s no reason to believe this will change in Week 10.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Buccaneers 31, Panthers 20
Philadelphia Eagles at New York Giants
Time/station: 1:00 PM EST, Fox
Eagles-Giants Week 10 point spread: Eagles -4.0 (over/under 44.5)
New York blew a golden opportunity to remain very much alive in the embarrassing NFC East due to a late-game loss to the favored Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 8. Despite this, the Giants are just two games behind Philadelphia in the win column. The primary issue here has been the ugly play of Daniel Jones at quarterback. While Jones played mistake-free football in a narrow Week 10 win over Washington, there’s still some major questions here.
While Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz (12 touchdowns, 12 interceptions) has struggled, too, there’s no reason to believe that the Giants will come out on top here. Philadelphia has won two consecutive and is coming off a much-needed bye week. We must take that into account.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Eagles 27, Giants 17
Jacksonville Jaguars at Green Bay Packers
Time/station: 1:00 PM EST, CBS
Jaguars-Packers Week 10 point spread: Packers -13.5 (over/under 50.0)
This is going to get ugly quickly. Now one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Jaguars have lost seven consecutive games. Their poor defense had given up at least 30 points in their previous six games prior to yielding 27 points in a Week 9 loss to the hapless Texans.

On the other hand, the Packers are coming off a win over an injury-plagued 49ers team on “Thursday Night Football.” It was a much needed victory for a squad that had lost two of three heading into Week 9. Aaron Rodgers (24 touchdowns, two interceptions) will eat big time in this one. One thing to note, it’s a chilly and windy day at Lambeau Field. In the end, Green Bay will win going away.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Packers 38, Jaguars 17
Buffalo Bills at Arizona Cardinals
Time/station: 4:05 PM EST, CBS
Bills-Cardinals Week 10 point spread: Cardinals -2.5 (over/under 56.5)
For a second consecutive week, the Bills will be taking on a top-end contender in the NFC West. Last week’s eye-opening 44-34 win over the Seattle Seahawks changed the dynamics here. After some recent struggles, Josh Allen balled out to the tune of 415 passing yards with three touchdowns and zero interceptions. Although, he does not have the benefit of taking on a bad Seahawks defense here.
The game itself will be interesting in that two former NFL MVP candidates in that of Allen and Kyler Murray will be going up against one another. At issue here for Arizona is the fact that it’s now lost three of its past six following a 2-0 start to the season. Kyler Murray and Co. must right the ship here. I just don’t see it after Allen’s rebound performance in Week 10.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Bills 28, Cardinals 24

Los Angeles Chargers at Miami Dolphins
Time/station: 4:05 PM EST, CBS
Chargers-Dolphins Week 10 point spread: Dolphins -1.5 (over/under 48.5)
It’s interesting to look at these two teams and how their seasons have evolved through the midway point. Los Angeles finds itself at 2-6 on the campaign with all six losses coming by one score. That’s despite the brilliant performance from Justin Herbert (19 total touchdowns, five interceptions) on the season. The Chargers have also lost each of their past two games on the final play. Ouch!

As for the Dolphins, they are also relying on a rookie quarterback in that of Tua Tagovailoa. Despite Miami’s win in Week 8, the Alabama product struggled big time. He turned it around in a narrow Week 9 win over the above-mentioned Cardinals and now has the Dolphins at a shocking 5-3. Expect that trend to continue.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Dolphins 24, Chargers 20
Denver Broncos at Las Vegas Raiders
Time/station: 4:05 PM EST, CBS
Broncos-Raiders Week 10 point spread: Raiders -3.5 (over/under 50.5)
Shockingly, both the Broncos and Raiders remain very much alive in the AFC Playoff race. They are doing it in different ways, too. Denver’s offense has struggled big time while its defense is keeping the team in games. Now that Drew Lock is back under center, the hope for Vic Fangio’s squad is that this unit will get it together.
As for the Raiders, they boast a 5-3 record after a thrilling win over the Chargers in Week 9. Derek Carr has been stellar under center, throwing 16 touchdowns compared to just two interceptions. This game will likely rest on Carr’s shoulders, as he’s just 5-6 in 11 career starts against Denver. With that said, I expect him to lead the Raiders to a narrow home victory in Week 10.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Raiders 27, Broncos 23
Seattle Seahawks at Los Angeles Rams
Time/station: 4:25 PM EST, Fox
Seahawks-Rams Week 10 point spread: Rams -2.0 (over/under 54.0)
Losers of two of three since a 4-1 start to the season, one could very well conclude that the Rams are in must-win mode. Those two losses have come against average teams in that of the Dolphins and 49ers. They also saw quarterback Jared Goff turn the ball over a combined five times.
However, there’s some good news on this front for Los Angeles. The Seahawks are giving up north of 370 passing yards per game and have been eaten alive during their two-game losing streak. That should help the Rams keep it close. Add in the fact that this squad boasts the third-best scoring defense in the NFL, and I am going with the home team to come away with the win.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Rams 31, Seahawks 27
Cincinnati Bengals at Pittsburgh Steelers
Time/station: 4:25 PM EST, CBS
Bengals-Steelers Week 10 point spread: Steelers -7.5 (over/under 47.0)
Update: Ben Roethlisberger activated off COVID-19 list
This is a much different Bengals team than we saw last season. However, they scored just 13 points in two games against the Steelers a season ago. Given Pittsburgh’s improvements on defense, it’s hard to imagine stud Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow being able to do a whole heck of a lot in this one.
Will Cincinnati keep it close? It’s more than possible. However, Pittsburgh is 8-0 on the season and outscoring its opponents by double digits. That’s going to be hard for the upstart Bengals to overcome here.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Steelers 28, Bengals 17
San Francisco 49ers at New Orleans Saints
Time/station: 4:25 PM EST, Fox
49ers-Saints Week 10 point spread: Saints -10.0 (over/under 49.0)
Whether it’s COVID-19, freak injuries, or long-term absences, the 49ers’ season has been derailed at nearly every turn. Here’s a squad that currently has six former Pro Bowlers on injured reserve. That doesn’t even include Super Bowl quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo.
Related: 49ers injury report
There’s absolutely no reason to believe that a group led by Nick Mullens can go into New Orleans and make this game close. The Saints have won four in a row since a 1-2 start to the season. Drew Brees has righted the ship under center. All of this will equate to a blowout Saints win.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Saints 34, 49ers 16
Sunday Night Football Week 10
Baltimore Ravens at New England Patriots
Time/station: 8:20 PM EST, NBC
Ravens-Steelers Week 10 point spread: Ravens -7.0 (over/under 43.5)
At the start of the season, many had this game pegged as one to circle. Could Cam Newton help his Patriots remain in contention with Tom Brady now in Tampa? Early in the year, this looked to be the case. That’s until the former NFL MVP contracted COVID-19. In the three games since prior to Week 9 (all losses), Newton had tallied zero touchdowns compared to five interceptions. Meanwhile, the Pats are without stalwart veteran receiver Julian Edelman for the long haul. Despite this, the team was able to defeat the Jets by the score of 30-27 this past Monday night. However, Week 10 is a different story.
As you can see by the point spread, there’s very little reason to believe New England can keep this close. Baltimore is yielding the second-fewest points in the NFL. Led by Lamar Jackson, the team is also scoring an average of 29 points per game. This one will not be close.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Ravens 31, Patriots 14
Monday Night Football Week 10
Minnesota Vikings at Chicago Bears
Time/station: 8:15 PM EST, ESPN
Vikings-Bears Week 10 point spread: Vikings -2.0 (over/under 43.0)
We should find out in Week 10 whether the Bears are pretenders or contenders. Their overtime loss to the New Orleans Saints back in Week 8 showed that this team can compete with some of the best. However, defeats at the hands of the Colts, Titans and Rams creates more questions than answers.
Related: If you’re a fan of the Bears, check out #DaBears rumors, rankings, and news here
As for the Vikings, they are coming off two huge wins within the division. It’s a span of action that has seen Dalvin Cook gain 476 total yards and six touchdowns. Look for the Vikings to keep up their recent stellar play Week 10 against a suddenly fledgling Bears squad.
Week 10 NFL predictions: Vikings 24, Bears 20
NFL Week 10 Thursday Night Football
Indianapolis Colts at Tennessee Titans
Time/station: 8:20 PM EST, NFL Network
Colts-Titans Week 10 point spread: Titans -1.0 (over/under 48.5)
The first of two games between these teams over the next three weeks, a lot is on the line in the AFC South heading into Week 10. The Titans now lead this division with a 6-2 record while the Colts are 5-3 following their loss to the Baltimore Ravens this past Sunday.
Related: If you’re a fan of the Titans, check out #Titans rumors, rankings, and news here.
Indianapolis had won five out of six since opening the season with a loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars. That came to a crushing end against Baltimore. On the other hand, Tennessee willed itself to a 24-17 win over the Chicago Bears despite a less-than-stellar performance from its offense. That will come back to haunt Ryan Tannehill and Co. in Week 10.
NFL Week 10 predictions: Colts 24, Titans 21
