The Las Vegas Raiders’ season is over after going 6-10 in the first year of Josh McDaniels’ tenure. The Raiders enter the offseason set to search for a new starting quarterback and more changes on defense as they look to stay competitive in a tough AFC West.
New Raiders general manager Dave Ziegler did everything possible to give Carr more weapons on offense. Acquiring Davante Adams in a blockbuster trade with the Green Bay Packers was a prime example of this.
Adams, 29, recorded 123 receptions for 1,553 yards and 11 touchdowns a season ago. He’s legit one of the top wide receivers in the NFL. Third-year receiver Bryan Edwards should be a nice No. 2 option on the outside. Meanwhile, slot guy Hunter Renfrow is coming off his own Pro Bowl performance.
With Darren Waller and Josh Jacobs potentially set for rebound performances, the Raiders’ offense should be elite in 2022. It’s all about how the defense does under new coordinator Patrick Graham. The addition of Chandler Jones should help the Las Vegas Raiders in that regard.
