On Saturday the MMA world leader returns to England for a card filled with some of the UFC’s best talent from the United Kingdom. And the card is headlined by Englishman Tom Aspinall as the ranked heavyweight returns from a serious knee injury and looks to get right back into title contention when he faces veteran Marcin Tybura.

The card from inside the O2 Arena will also see veterans Andre Muniz, Paul Craig, Jai Herbert, Nathaniel Wood, and Andre Fili return to the Octagon this weekend. With that in mind, let’s make a few bold UFC predictions for the promotion’s next event on Saturday afternoon in the United States.

UFC predictions: 5 UFC London fighters getting Ws Saturday

Tom Aspinall (12-3) vs. Marcin Tybura (24-7)

Before blowing out his knee a year ago, Aspinall was right on the cusp of a title opportunity. The Englishman is arguably the best heavyweight the nation has ever produced and he had built a great deal of momentum after winning eight straight, including five in the UFC, before his injury-related loss to Curtis Blaydes in 2022.

However, getting back into the win column won’t be easy against Tybura, an established veteran with a rock-solid all-around MMA game. Nevertheless, if Aspinall is fully recovered his talent is undeniable. He is the better athlete and just offers more dangers wherever the bout goes. That is why he is one of the biggest favorites on the card. Look for him to get the W but by hard-fought decision.

André Muniz (23-5) vs. Paul Craig (16-6-1)

Muniz versus Craig is a fascinating matchup between two of the best grapplers in the middleweight division. In fights like this, where two combatants are evenly matched on the mat, it often leads to a battle away from that strength on the feet. Don’t be surprised if this one turns into a wild stand-up brawl.

The question then is which man is the better striker and does Craig’s return to 185-pounds bring a different performance? While neither will give Israel Adesanya a run for their money, they are still competent in that department. However, Muniz has a slight advantage there. Expect him to eventually land a strike that hurts his opponent and leads to a TKO finish on the ground for the Brazilian.

Molly McCann (13-5) vs. Julija Stoliarenko (10-7-2)

After winning three straight, Molly McCann was dominantly beaten by fast-rising star Erin Blanchfield in November. “Meatball” is back on Saturday and the UK star has been given a very favorable matchup and chance to get back in the win column.

Julija Stoliarenko is 1-4 in the UFC and it is surprising she has still held on to a roster spot after such a horrid star to her Octagon run. McCann is a solid favorite heading into the bout and Stoliarenko’s style seems to be built to get Paddy Pimblett’s pal a highlight-reel finish in London.

Lerone Murphy (12-0-1) vs. Joshua Culibao (11-1-1)

Lerone Murphy vs. Joshua Culibao is a very interesting clash of elite prospects at featherweight. Both have scored notable wins in the promotion and a victory on Saturday will decide which man has the upside to eventually be a ranked fighter at 145 pounds.

It really is a pick ’em fight, but considering the fact that Murphy is probably the more dangerous striker and will be getting major support from his countrymen on fight night, look for “The Miracle” to score an impressive finish in the second round due to his advantages on the feet.

Nathaniel Wood (19-5) vs. Andre Fili (22-9)

Nathaniel Wood vs. Andre Fili has fight-of-the-night potential at UFC London. Wood will be galvanized by the home nation crowd and Fili is an Octagon veteran who is always ready for a scrap and willing to put it all on the line for fight fans.

However, their careers seem to be going in a different direction. Fili has been in several wars and at 33 is likely in the early stages of age and wear-and-tear-related decline. While “The Prospect” is a fighter with a lot of talent on the cusp of big things. This fight will be another showcase of that as Wood shows why he is one of the best-rising fighters at featherweight.
