Is your current starting fantasy quarterback sleeping at the wheel? Perhaps, your star wide receiver keeps falling short. If your fantasy team needs help with six teams on a bye (Atlanta Falcons, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, New Orleans Saints, and Washington Commanders) — amongst multiple player injuries — check out the best waiver wire pickups for NFL Week 14.

Waiver Wire Week 14: Quarterbacks

Tyler Huntley, Baltimore Ravens

With Lamar Jackson spraining his knee in his last game, Tyler Huntley is a top waiver wire pickup for Week 14. If Jackson is not able to play this week, Huntley, who threw for 187 yards and ran for another 41, pairs up nicely against the Pittsburgh Steelers, whose passing defense ranks fifth-worst in the league.

Desmond Ridder, Atlanta Falcons

The Falcons are done with Marcus Mariota and planning to start rookie Desmond Ridder in Week 15. Those in dyer straights in need of snagging an extra quarterback with fantasy playoffs on the horizon might want to pluck Ridder from the waiver wire. Desperate times..

Brock Purdy, San Francisco 49ers

On the fly, Brock Purdy will be a popular QB waiver wire target for those who rostered Jimmy Garoppolo (broken foot) or who need a QB2 in superflex league. Purdy was impressive in his rookie debut, helping take the 49ers to a win while passing for 201 yards and one trip to paydirt.

Baker Mayfield, Los Angeles Rams

So, the Panthers’ experiment with Baker Mayfield is up (released) and he is now signed with the Los Angeles Rams. For those struggling with their current QB roster, or who are feeling the pain of the bye week, Mayfield should be available on plenty of waiver wires in Week 14. The Rams’ offense is a shell of what it was at the start of the season, so buyer’s hoping Mayfield hits home runs might want to tame expectations.

Waiver Wire Week 14: Running Backs

DeeJay Dallas and Tony Jones, Seattle Seahawks

Sadly, Kenneth Walker III suffered an ankle injury, making DeeJay Dallas and Tony Jones pickups from the Week 14 waiver wire. Should Walker’s injury hold him out, Dallas looks to carry the majority of load in Seattle, after rushing for 37 yards on 10 carries. However, Jones could have a role as well.

Zonovan Knight, New York Jets

If your league didn’t get the memo last week and Knight is on waivers, pick him up ASAP in Week 14. If Michael Carter’s ankle injury holds him out in his next game, Knight should receive the bulk of the RB workload. In his last game, Knight rushed for an impressive 90 yards on 15 carries and also recorded 28 receiving yards.

James Cook, Buffalo Bills

Cook just played a season-high 43% of his team’s snaps, making him a top RB waiver wire pickup in Week 14. If he’s still available, he could see increased touches alongside Devin Singletary, facing a New York Jets team that last gave up 100 rushing yards and two touchdowns to the Vikings running backs.

Cam Akers, Los Angeles Rams

For those in desperation mode, Cam Akers is likely hanging out on some Week 14 waiver wires. While the Rams’ offense is an unpredictable disaster, Akers somehow had his best fantasy performance of the season, rushing for 60 yards on 17 carries and scoring twice. Go figure? He could be up for another decent outing next playing the Raiders, currently giving up the fifth-most RB fantasy points.

Waiver Wire Week 14: Wide Receivers

Nico Collins, Houston Texans

Nico Collins has been a sleeper and he makes for a top WR waiver wire pickup in Week 14 after scoring his second score on the season. With his targets increasing (36 in his last four games), Collins could make for a decent fill-in with several top fantasy WRs taking their bye in Week 14.

Trent Sherfield, Miami Dolphins

Sherfield has been turning some heads and he last went off big-time on a 75-yard touchdown in the Dolphins’ opening drive in Sunday’s game against the 49ers. This performance coupled with Jaylen Waddle perhaps dealing with a leg injury, has Sherfield topping the Week 14 waiver wire at WR.

D.J. Chark, Detroit Lions

Those floundering to fill wide receiver slots in Week 14, might consider making a claim for D.J. Chark on the waiver wire. Chark last caught five-of-six targets for 98 yards and he’s got the Minnesota Vikings — currently giving up the second-most WR fantasy points — next on the schedule.

Isaiah Hodgins, New York Giants

A deep waiver wire target for Week 14 is Isaiah Hodgins coming from his best fantasy performance of the season. Hodgins stood out in his last game when he caught five-of-six of his targets for 44 yards and one touchdown. With the Giants receiving corps banged up, Hodgins’ six targets were the second-most behind Darius Slayton in Sunday’s hard-fought tie against Washington.

Waiver Wire Week 14: Tight Ends

Greg Dulcich, Denver Broncos

After some bad fantasy performances over Weeks 10-12, Dulcich surely landed on multiple waiver wires. If so, he will be a top TE pickup after showing up with an 85-yard performance in his last game. His eight targets led the entire Broncos offense in Week 13.

Chigoziem Okonkwo, Tennessee Titans

Searching for a decent tight end fill-in at the Week 14 mark is nearly impossible. However, Okonkwo last put up his best stats of the season. His five targets for four catches and 68 yards topped both Travis Kelce and Mark Andrews in fantasy points. Plus, Okonkwo’s fantasy numbers were also the best of any Titans’ pass-catcher in Week 13.
