Odell Beckham Jr. meeting with Buffalo Bills on Friday

Struggling to score in the red zone area lately, thanks to an uptick in Josh Allen interceptions, the Buffalo Bills could be nearing some offensive reinforcements by signing Odell Beckham Jr.

Yet, as you can imagine, the Bills aren’t the only team interested in signing the player who appeared to be on his way to winning Super Bowl MVP prior to tearing his ACL.

Now that the former Pro Bowl receiver is apparently healthy and ready to return to the field, there’s suddenly a gold rush for his services.

We’ve heard that the New York Giants are set for a two-day meeting with OBJ, beginning Thursday and carrying over into Friday, and we’ve also heard the Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys have earned a seat at the table with Beckham too. But until recently, we didn’t know when.

Thanks to injured-but-spectacular Bills pass rusher Von Miller, we now know when Beckham Jr. will visit Buffalo.

Von Miller doesn’t think Odell Beckham Jr. will leave Buffalo Bills facility

Speaking on his “Voncast” podcast, Miller revealed that Beckham Jr. is set to meet with Buffalo on Friday, December 2.

“Yeah, he’s going to be here. Everybody was like, ‘Ah, no, he’s going to the Cowboys. . . .’ Hey, man, it ain’t over ’til it’s over. He’s going to see the Giants, us and the Cowboys, and I think when he comes here, I don’t think he’s going to leave.”

As Miller alluded to, Beckham is also set to visit Dallas after Buffalo. It’s hard to know exactly what the 30-year-old receiver is prioritizing in his free agency courtship, but it’s clear he wants to land with a contender.

In New York, he’d get a chance to vie for the most or possibly second-most targets on the team. While it may present the best story, being that it’s a Big Apple reunion, it may also present him with the worst chance to add another ring to his finger.

In Buffalo, OBJ wouldn’t be the top option, he may not even be the second-most frequent option, but he’d be joining one of the most explosive passing offenses in football, with the opportunity to catch passes from Josh Allen, also one of the NFL’s top QBs.

In Dallas, Beckham would get the big market, and like in Buffalo, he’d get to play in one primetime game this season, unlike in New York. If Beckham thrives with Dallas, in another high-powered offense, where he’d likely be the second or third option for Dak Prescott, his star would once again shine bright.

In the end, it could come down to a combination of everything, from fit, comfort level, salary, ability to contend, as well as his role within the offense. Who knows what Beckham will decide, but we finally appear much closer to finding out where he’ll be playing football late in 2022.
