Dallas Cowboys star Micah Parsons has warning for George Kittle after troll job

Star pass rusher Micah Parsons and his Dallas Cowboys were no match for the San Francisco 49ers Sunday night in Santa Clara.

San Francisco moved its record to 5-0 on the season via a blowout 42-10 win over its rivals. For his part, Parsons did nothing of substance (0 QB hits, 0 sacks).

On the other hand, 49ers Pro Bowl tight end George Kittle scored three touchdowns against Dallas’ previously vaunted defense.

During the game, Kittle lifted up his jersey to expose a t-shirt that said “f**k Dallas.” It was the star tight end’s way of trolling the Cowboys.

Parsons was having none of it one day after his team suffered the humiliating loss. In fact, he offered up a warning for Kittle and the 49ers.

“George Kittle had three touchdowns on us. And he posted this thing to IG,” Parsons said, via Bleacher Report. “He said ‘f**k Dallas.’ I just feel like he’s making it way more personal than it had to be. Kittle’s my guy, but (I will) say this. Laugh now, cry later. We got something for that. Just trust. If we see them again, just trust.”

It must be noted that Kittle was paying homage to former 49ers great Gary Plummer, who was seen wearing the same shirt after they defeated Dallas in the 1994 NFC Championship Game. In his defense, Parsons was roughly five years from being born when that game took place.

Either way, we’re seeing a new rivalry between these two teams being born after some heated contests in the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.

It’s not yet known whether the Cowboys and 49ers will play in the playoffs for the third consecutive season. San Francisco has defeated Dallas in the postseason each of the past two years, adding to frustration on the part of the Cowboys.

Despite this, Parsons doesn’t think that his Cowboys are a rung below the 49ers.

“I don’t think the 49ers are at a higher level than us. I think we’re the same caliber playoff team. Same talent. Same standards. I just feel like (we) need to reconsider and fix some things. The score doesn’t really show what happened out there.”

Micah Parsons on Dallas Cowboys Week 5 loss to the 49ers

San Francisco took a 14-0 lead early in the second quarter Sunday night on Kittle’s second touchdown catch from Brock Purdy. After Dallas cut the lead in half, the 49ers drove down the field 75 yards for a touchdown to take a 21-7 lead into the half.

It was pretty much history from there with the 49ers outscoring Dallas 21-3 through the first 16 minutes of the second half before both teams pulled their starters early in the fourth quarter.

The stats tell us a story of domination. San Francisco tallied 25 first downs and 421 total yards of offense. With Dak Prescott tossing three interceptions, the Cowboys had eight first downs and less than 200 total yards.

For Parsons and the Cowboys, it’s back to the drawing board. At the very least, they won’t have to worry about San Francisco until January.
