Facing the Houston Texans today, the Miami Dolphins will be without their starting quarterback Tua Tagovailoa.
Dealing with a small fracture in his left middle finger (throwing hand), Tagovailoa will take a back seat, with backup Jacoby Brissett making his fourth start of the season for the Dolphins. Tagovailoa will reportedly be active, but is not expected to play.
In his three games as a starter this season, the Dolphins have gone 0-3. Tagovailoa is 1-4 in games he’s started this season. The hope is Tagovailoa can return next week when the Dolphins take on the Baltimore Ravens on a short week, on Thursday Night Football.
