Reigning NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year Nick Bosa suffered an apparent serious knee injury. He was joined by the star backfield of quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo and Raheem Mostert in going down.
Remember, San Francisco was already without wide receiver Deebo Samuel, tight end George Kittle, edge rusher Dee Ford and cornerback Richard Sherman for the game.
Despite this, Kyle Shanahan’s squad absolutely destroyed the hapless. San Francisco found itself up 31-6 early in the fourth quarter, besting the point spread in the process.
