Las Vegas Raiders star wide receiver Davante Adams was inside his stomping grounds at Allegiant Stadium for the Pro Bowl Games in Sin City on Sunday.
For Adams and the rest of his Raiders teammates on hand, it would seem to be a bit awkward given the situation surrounding quarterback Derek Carr. It actually didn’t seem to be that way with everyone having fun taking part in the “reimagined” Pro Bowl.
As the wide receiver was taking part in festivities, he took time out of his day to recruit Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers even more than what we’ve seen in the past.
Adams told reporters that he “one million percent would advocate” for the Raiders acquiring Rodgers in a blockbuster trade. “Playing with him again would be a dream scenario,” Davante Adams told reporters.
It’s interesting to look at. Adams preference for the Raiders last offseason was known before his former Green Bay Packers team dealt the star wide receiver to Vegas. One of the primary reasons for this was Adams’ relationship with Carr dating back to their days together with Fresno State.
A second-round pick of the Packers back in 2014, Adams played his first eight NFL seasons with Rodgers in Green Bay. The two built up an absolutely tremendous relationship on the field with Adams earning a Pro Bowl nod each of his final five seasons in Green Bay.

Adams has not been quiet of courting Rodgers through social media. It’s been a continuing theme, one that makes us wonder whether he’s actually trolling the masses.
His likes on Twitter also tell us a story with multiple posts about Aaron Rodgers joining the Las Vegas Raiders. It really is a thing of beauty.
As of right now, Vegas has been most linked to the four-time NFL MVP. By now, it’s well known that the Raiders are going to either trade or release Carr within the next week or so. Head coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler will also be searching for a replacement. Given his track record, Rodgers would make a ton of sense.

In terms of NFL history, that’s the greatest stat line of all-time. And while Rodgers did take a step back this past season in Green Bay, it must be noted that he was playing without a ton of weapons following the Davante Adams trade. Crazy how that works.
Following the retirement of Tom Brady last week, Las Vegas turned its attention to Aaron Rodgers. Apparently, the organization joined Adams in that club.
Whether this means something will happen remains to be seen. What we do know is that Rodgers has noted recently that Green Bay has initiated trade talks with other teams. The asking price is said to be at least two first-round picks.
