The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are about to be the first team to host the big game when their Super Bowl LV matchup against the Kansas City Chiefs kicks off a bit later on Sunday.
Unfortunately for Tampa Bay, its weekly tradition of firing off cannons after a score will not happen with this technically being a neutral site game in the eyes of the NFL.
Knowing full well about this backdrop, the Chiefs’ social media account decided to shade the Buccaneers in an absolutely glorious way.

WATCH: Kansas City Chiefs troll Tampa Bay Buccaneers ahead of Super Bowl LV
Before we talk about the 60-yard pass Patrick Mahomes just unloaded prior to the game, let’s talk about this epic troll job. The Chiefs are pretty much saying that the only cannon going off during Super Bowl LV in Tampa Bay on Sunday will be from the right arm of the reigning MVP of the big game.
We’re not sure that this is the greatest of ideas for the Chiefs given that Tom Brady sits on the other side and is looking for his seventh career Super Bowl victory. You really don’t want to give Tom Terrific bulletin board material.
As it is, the Chiefs find themselves as favorites to take home a second consecutive title. If that happens, it will be because of Mahomes’ cannon of an arm.
