Gervonta Davis has again been accused of domestic violence, leading to yet another arrest for the boxing superstar.

The WBA lightweight champion was arrested on Friday morning in Miami Beach, FL, on charges of battery from an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend of four years. According to WPLG Local 10, this latest arrest comes close to a month after he allegedly assaulted the mother of two of his three children on Father’s Day outside of her home in Doral, FL.

The arrest report states Davis struck the woman in the back of the head and slapped her in the face. Which caused a minor cut to the inner part of her lip. According to Miami-Dade County’s inmate report, the 30-year-old is being held at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center. Bond is expected “to be set” soon.

Unfortunately, this is just the latest ugly run-in with the law that the Baltimore, MD native has had after becoming a star in the sport. Davis was charged with simple battery domestic violence in February 2020 after an incident with the mother of his daughter on the Miami University campus.

After that case was discharged, he was arrested after allegedly striking a woman with a “closed hand type slap” two years later. Those charges were later dropped. In 2023, he pleaded guilty to four traffic offenses from a hit-and-run incident.

Gervonta Davis is expected to face recent foe Lamont Roach in a rematch next month. It is unclear how this latest arrest will affect those fight plans.
