The Los Angeles Rams are reportedly taking Jared Goff up on his offer to restructure his contract and help create much-needed cap space.

ESPN’s Lindsey Thiry shared this news on Friday after the Rams officially announced the free-agency signings of A’Shawn Robinson and Leonard Floyd:

Los Angeles had less than zero in cap space heading into the NFL Draft, so it’s not surprising they are restructuring Goff’s contract. The franchise inked the former No. 1 overall pick to a record-breaking, bloated extension last year, and then Goff had a season full of regression.

So, this really was a no-brainer.
