The Philadelphia Eagles’ 2023 Super Bowl appearance made it seem like they would remain one of the best teams in the NFL for years to come. Our Eagles mock draft plans to take an already competitive Eagles roster and form a team capable of competing for a championship.

There may be a lot of roster work to do, especially after losing more talent over the offseason. But Howie Roseman has been here before, and the Eagles are surely in for another big haul during the 2024 NFL Draft.

Our 2024 Eagles mock draft addresses the biggest remaining team needs while keeping an eye on the future. Before diving into our Eagles mock draft 2024, here’s everything you need to know.

Philadelphia Eagles mock draft: Rebuilding both sides of the ball

1st Round, 22nd overall: Cooper DeJean, CB, Iowa Hawkeyes

While the Philadelphia Eagles have both of their starting cornerbacks returning, we have to remember this is the same group that had the worst pass defense in the NFL to close out the year. It’s time the Eagles bring in fresh legs, and Cooper DeJean can make an immediate impact wherever Vic Fangio decides to deploy him.

DeJean is an athletic freak who can play anywhere in the secondary and his elite ball skills plus high IQ allow him to thrive in any role he’s thrown into. Some have suggested he’d be an All-Pro safety, but he can be an elite cornerback and possibly the best run defender at his position.

2nd Round, 50th overall: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia

Barring a surprising change of heart, Jason Kelce won’t be returning to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. While they may have a flexible replacement option on hand in Cam Jurgens, the Eagles may prefer to have him compete with Tyler Steen at right guard.

Drafting West Virginia’s Zach Frazier gives the Eagles even more flexibility up front, whether that means competing with Jurgens for the starting center job or allowing the latter to do the same at right guard. Frazier is built a bit like Kelce in the sense that he’s strong, athletic, and understands how to use leverage to his advantage in the trenches on plays such as the tush push that the Eagles love to run. He’d be a great fit in Philadelphia.

2nd Round, 53rd overall: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State

Adding another receiver this high isn’t a must, but adding more depth to Jalen Hurts’ receiving corps should be under heavy consideration with each of the Eagles’ first few picks. At 6-foot-3, Keon Coleman has the size to compete for a starting role, even if there isn’t one available in Philadelphia.

However, his long speed and ability to haul in 50-50 balls could lead to Coleman developing into an NFL star. Since Roseman loves to take chances on players with sky-high potential, Coleman could be an ideal fit for Philly.
