Odell Beckham Jr. waited months in NFL free agency last offseason until he found a home. One year later, the former All-Pro wide receiver could be poised to take a similar path to potentially join a Super Bowl contender for the 2024 season.
After signing with the Baltimore Ravens in April 2023, Beckham Jr. settled into a complementary role with the Ravens’ passing attack. While he played a smaller role in a run-heavy offense, the veteran wideout still recorded five games with 40-plus receiving yards including a 116-yard performance against the Cincinnati Bengals on Nov. 16.

After parting ways with Baltimore this offseason, the 31-year-old has had to wait in NFL free agency while other top receivers sign deals. With the market starting to slow down, Beckham Jr. recently visited the Miami Dolphins with mutual interest between the two sides.
Speaking to reporters on Monday, Dolphins’ head coach Mike McDaniel revealed that the team has formally made a contract offer to Beckham Jr. However, as he noted, “business takes time” and a deal isn’t necessarily imminent.

While Beckham Jr’s production is more indicative of a No. 3 receiver than a primary weapon in a high-volume passing attack, he was very effective down the stretch for Baltimore. Beckham Jr. recorded the fourth-highest yards per route run (2.93) among receivers from Weeks 8-14, earning a 118.6 QB rating when targeted, per Pro Football Focus. The last time he played at that level, he was doing it as an instrumental part of the Los Angeles Rams’ offense during a Super Bowl run.
