NFL Draft 2023

The 2023 NFL Draft starts on Thursday, April 27, the second day is Friday, April 28, with Rounds 2 & 3. The third and final day of the Draft occurs on Saturday, April 29, with Rounds 4-7.

Day one of the NFL Draft begins at 8 PM ET and will feature 31 picks or the entire first round. Day two begins at 7 PM ET, with Rounds 2 & 3. The third and final day of the Draft starts at 12 PM ET, with Rounds 4-7.

The NFL Draft consists of 7 rounds. Each of the 32 teams in the league is assigned one pick per round, barring any trades or compensatory picks that may alter the order.

There are a total of 259 picks in the NFL Draft. This number includes the 7 rounds with 32 picks each (224 picks), as well as 35 compensatory picks awarded to teams based on the loss of certain free agents. Please note that the total number of picks can vary slightly from year to year due to trades, forfeitures, or changes in the number of compensatory picks awarded.
