DraftKings Week 10 picks: Quarterbacks

C.J. Stroud, Houston Texans, $6,900

Priced at $1,100 cheaper than the top DraftKings QB option, C.J. Stroud is an excellent DFS value play for Week 10. After his last week’s 470-yard, five-TD performance, start Stroud while he’s scorching hot. The Texans head to Cincinnati when they should have to throw plenty to keep competitive.

Jared Goff, Detroit Lions, $6,400

Another DraftKings value play at QB in Week 10 is Goff. Rested from a bye, the Lions head to face the Los Angeles Chargers who have given up the fourth-most QB fantasy points and a league-high 299.1 passing yards per game. Goff should feast!

Will Levis, Tennessee Titans, $5,300

Will Levis could be primed for another monster fantasy performance making him a cheap DraftKings play in Week 10. He will hit the road and square off against the Buccaneers that just allowed C.J. Stroud those 470 passing yards and five touchdowns. It was only two weeks ago that Levis threw four passing TDs in his rookie debut.

DraftKings Week 10 picks: Running Backs

Christian McCaffrey, San Francisco 49ers, $9,200

CMC is just too darn good to sit, even at his stout salary. Returning from his bye week, and two former games of performances that consisted of 214 total yards and four touchdowns, do what you can to start him at Jacksonville. It doesn’t matter that the Jags rank third-best in defending RBs. CMC is matchup-proof.

Travis Etienne, Jacksonville Jaguars, $7,100

In this same tilt, Etienne is also a solid value play in DraftKings for Week 10. Like CMC, Etienne’s fantasy stats have been off the charts, with seven TDs scored in his last four contests. Look for him to find his holes against a 49ers defense that last gave up 110 total yards and a score to Joe Mixon.

Aaron Jones, Green Bay Packers, $6,500

Jones finally had THAT game everyone had been desperately anticipating this season. He appears healthy and is a definite Week 10 value play when the Packers head to Pittsburgh. The Steelers have yielded the eighth-most DraftKings points (24.5) per game.

Keaton Mitchell, Baltimore Ravens, $4,700

Is Keaton Mitchell a one-hit wonder, or the real deal? Those who want to shoot for the moon with Mitchell, priced extremely cheap in DraftKings, could strike gold. This is even playing a Cleveland defense that ranks fifth-best against fantasy RBs. Mitchell was last uncontainable when he averaged 15.3 yards per carry on 138 rushing yards and scored when he hit the field last week. This is all pretty difficult to ignore.

However, keep an eye on his health status as he popped on the latest injury report with a hamstring issue.

DraftKings Week 10 picks: Wide Receivers

Amon-Ra St. Brown, Detroit Lions, $8,300

As the fifth-highest priced WR in DraftKings, ARSB is a sweet Week 10 DFS play facing the Chargers. The Chargers’ defense has been quite generous to wide receivers and has given away the fourth-most fantasy points to the position. ARSB is primed for success.

Chris Olave, New Orleans Saints $6,400

Things have been a little quiet for Olave, making him an affordable DraftKings value play in Week 10 heading to Minnesota. The Vikings have yielded the seventh-most DraftKings WR points (38.6 per game). Just hope that Olave and Derek Carr continue to stay on the same page.

Tank Dell, Houston Texans, $5,500

Coming in at this salary, Dell is an excellent Week 10 DFS option stacked with C.J. Stroud. Dell was last targeted 11 times, resulting in 114 yards and two TDs. Even facing Cincinnati, who is giving up the 13th-least WR fantasy points, Dell should produce off of volume.

Jahan Dotson, Washington Commanders, $5,000

Jahan Dotson enters Week 10 having recorded 177 total yards and two TDs over his last two games, making him a practically must-start in DraftKings. Dotson offers a high ceiling at this price, especially with Seattle allowing 171.4 WR yards per game.

Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals, $4,600

With Tee Higgins out in Week 10, fire up Tyler Boyd as a value option in DraftKings. The Texans will be focused on containing Ja’Marr Chase so Boyd should receive plenty of targets. At his salary, Boyd boasts tons of upside.

DraftKings Week 10 picks: Tight Ends

Sam LaPorta, Detroit Lions, $5,700

LaPorta is a top TE value play in DraftKings heading to play the Chargers. Los Angeles has allowed 15.2 DraftKings fantasy points to opposing tight ends thus far. We should trust Jared Goff to keep LaPorta — targeted 28 times in his last three games — heavily involved.

Dalton Schultz, Houston Texans, $4,900

Dalton Schultz is a cheaper DFS start in Week 10, facing the Bengals currently ceding the most TE fantasy points. Schultz last had his best fantasy performance, 11 targets, 10 catches, 130 yards, and one TD. Roll with him while he’s hot!

Trey McBride, Arizona Cardinals, $3,500

Further savings in DraftKings can be had by starting McBride versus Atlanta in Week 10. Kyler Murray is returning and the Falcons just gave up seven catches and 69 yards to T.J. Hockenson. At this price, McBride offers plenty of appeal.

DraftKings overrated plays Week 10

Quarterbacks:

Lamar Jackson, Baltimore Ravens, $8,000

Priced as the highest in DraftKings, Jackson’s fantasy points haven’t been plentiful over his last two games. In Week 10, he will face Cleveland which has given up the second-fewest QB fantasy points. While Jackson faired well the last time he played the Browns, there are cheaper DraftKings options with high ceilings to consider.

Running Backs:

Saquon Barkley, New York Giants, $7,700

In Week 10, the Giants head to Dallas when this matchup just screams doom for Barkley. Thus, he’s an overrated play as the fourth-highest-priced RB in DraftKings. Throw in a backup QB — most likely playing from behind — facing Dallas’ ferocious defense and this further sours Barkley’s Week 10 outlook.

Wide Receivers:

Keenan Allen, Los Angeles Chargers, $8,800

Allen has not produced to par over his last three games, and he has not scored since Week 6. This makes him quite overrated as DraftKings’ second-highest-priced WR on the Week 10 slate. The Chargers take on a healthy Detroit defense that has yielded the eighth-fewest DraftKings WR fantasy points.

Tight Ends:

Evan Engram, Jacksonville Jaguars, $4,500

Engram’s fantasy matchup is a scary one for tight ends. The 49ers head to Jacksonville, presenting Engram with a defense that has given up the second-fewest fantasy points in DraftKings to opposing tight ends. Only one tight end has scored against San Francisco. There are better choices than Engram in Week 10.
