The NHL’s postseason is quickly approaching, and many of the league’s elite are already in playoff mode.
Players like Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane are veterans of April and May hockey (though Kane will be playing with a new team for the first time). These stars have huge impacts for their respective clubs, and are extremely valuable in playoff pools.
There are some surprises this season (including the fact that Alex Ovechkin will not see the postseason), but most of the usual suspects are available for making bets. From Joe Pavelski to Sidney Crosby, these are the active NHL players with the most playoff points.

#Jeff Carter has played playoff hockey with the Philadelphia Flyers, the Los Angeles Kings, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He won Stanley Cups with the Kings in 2012 and 2014.
##Phil Kessel has played playoff games with the Boston Bruins, the Toronto Maple Leafs, and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He won back-to-back championships with the Penguins in 2016 and 2017.

- Nathan MacKinnon, indicated with an x and highlighted in red in the list above, is a part of the defending Stanley Cup champions, the Colorado Avalanche, and has played his whole career with the club. He is chasing Pens captain and fellow Nova Scotian Sidney Crosby’s record of shortest amount of games to 100 playoff points. MacKinnon has 93 points (41G, 52A) in 70 games, and Crosby collected 100 in 75 games. The Avalanche have clinched a postseason berth this year.
- Superstar Connor McDavid has only played 37 playoff games, but is 50th among all active players in playoff points with 55. He is slated to make another run with his club, the Edmonton Oilers, this year. His teammate Leon Draisaitl is 44th on this list, collecting 59 points in 37 games.
- Joe Pavelski and Logan Couture are the only two players on this list who have not won a Stanley Cup.
