It took Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes a full quarter to get it going against the Los Angeles Chargers in Mexico City Monday night.
Dealing with poor conditions, Mahomes picked it up big time in the second half. That included this absolutely unreal 23-yard touchdown pass to Travis Kelce with pressure from the Chargers ready to tee off on Mahomes.
Check this out in all of its glory.
There’s legitimately less than a handful of quarterbacks (if that) in NFL history who would be able to deliver the ball down the left sideline with that type of pressure. Mahomes certainly is one of them.
What a brilliant play from one of the most-talented signal callers to ever put on an NFL uniform.
Oh, and it gave the Chiefs and commanding 24-9 third quarter lead as they look to remain in first place in the AFC West.
