Things did not get off to a great start for reigning NFL MVP Patrick Mahomes in Mexico City Monday night.

With his Kansas City Chiefs looking to remain in first place and going up against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, Mahomes completed 2-of-7 passes for 15 yards in the first quarter.

That included just his second interception of the season, a pass into the hands of Chargers safety Rayshawn Jenkins.

The pass itself might have been late down the field. Not a great combination for success. However, give Jenkins credit for the acrobatic pick.

Remember, this is the same Chargers defense that held Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to 184 total yards back on Nov. 3. It sure has come to play in this contest.
